Simpson Judge are partnering with a large technical distributor who are based in the heart of Milton Keynes.

Our client is looking to appoint an Accounts Payable Clerk to work closely with the Accounts Payable Manager and support the wider Accounts Payable team.

The Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for:

Validate and verify invoices and credit notes daily, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
Investigate and resolve queries promptly, employing advanced tools and methodologies.
Proactively retrieve missing invoices and credit notes using efficient document recovery methods.
Manage and streamline financial workflows, optimising administration and inbox efficiency.
Foster collaboration with multiplesite stakeholders, facilitating seamless information exchange.
Scan and digitise physical documents for digital preservation and accessibility.
Reconcile supplier statements, download invoices from various portals, and post invoices in the system, ensuring financial accuracy and efficiency.

The successful Accounts Payable will need:

Proven experience working at a similar level
A great understanding of Accounts Payable / Purchase Ledger to be able to hit the ground running
Have great communication skills to be able to liaise with relevant stakeholders
Be proactive in your daily approach to work
