This is an exciting opportunity for a researcher to join a collaborative project which examines reparative justice in school education.

The project is funded by the UKRI Frontier Research grant, _Reparative Futures of Education (Repair-Ed)_, and is led by Professor Arathi Sriprakash.

The project involves collaborating with primary school-communities in the city of Bristol, England. Through participatory and qualitative methodologies, the project explores the features and mechanisms of structural inequities in education.

The project facilitates dialogues with stakeholders (schools, their communities, policy-actors and the broader public) to explore how reparative justice in education might be conceptualised and enacted.

Reporting to the Principal Investigator, the post holder will be a member of the Repair-Ed research team with responsibility for the provision of research support


This includes:
literature reviewing; compiling data summaries; qualitative data collection and analysis; and supporting the preparation of written outputs (e.g. peer-reviewed journal articles, non-academic research briefs, etc.).

The role also involves supporting administrative and organisational tasks relating to:
communications with stakeholders; workshop and meeting planning; and maintaining the project website.


This a part time role at 22.5 hours per week (0.6 FTE) and is fixed term for a period of three years.

Due to the requirements of the role a satisfactory enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check is required.
