Gas Angel is a small, friendly, local team of heating engineers. We love helping people. For us this means, keeping the homes of North East folk safe and warm all year.
We're on the look out for a caring and focused customer sales advisor to join the busy Gas Angel team and be the main point of contact for our customers and suppliers.
Pay and hours...
Part-time - 25 hours per week
Monday to Friday - 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM (slightly longer hours during winter months and to cover annual leave)
£24K to £26K, pro rata, depending on experience.
- Additional hours available, especially during winter months (typically Sept - Feb) and to cover director annual leave
Location
Fully remote with an in-person meet up every 2-4 weeks.

You have strong communication and admin skills and are willing to go the extra mile to ensure our customers feel well looked after.
You have neat admin and organisational skills, and regularly use initiative to effectively manage customer and supplier-related tasks with a can-do attitude.

The Customer Sales Advisor role at Gas Angel is rewarding and challenging in equal measures.
Helping a customer through a difficult situation that involves their home and is impacting their life in real-time is satisfying.
That being said it is not always easy and often calls for us to be the calming influence that eases a stressful time for our customers.
Here is a taster of what you'll be doing on a weekly basis at Gas Angel:
- Working to company targets
- Giving technical support and resolving faults by phone (training given)
- Scheduling customer appointments
- Correctly logging customer data into our systems
- Advising customers of services available and special offers
- Organising your own diary/workload
- Organising our engineers diary/workload
- Managing customer expectation
- Liaising with and building relationships with suppliers
- Creating customer quotes
- Generating customer invoices
- Providing supplier purchase orders
- Problemsolving
- Meeting customer and task deadlines
- Demonstrating compassion and excellent customer service
- Learning and adapting to change as it happens
