Hours: Full time (37.5 hours per week - Mon to Fri)

Network Specialist - HSEQ

What will you be doing?

  • Schedule and complete HSEQ
Compliance Audits of both in progress and completed works, manage Snag list and subsequent rectifications.

  • Sign off on completion of key stage activities against project deliverables, manage Snag list and subsequent rectifications
  • Provide On Site Liaison on in progress works with land owners and project sponsors.
  • Produce compliance reports on Supply Chain progress, performance, Corrective actions and as built and measure sheet supplier submissions.
  • Undertake direct works as requested & deemed competent to do so, and deliver output to agreed SLAs, including but limited to:
  • ODF audits
  • Cable Tracing
  • Patch Cord identification
  • Completion of required number of audits per month to required quality and analysis of results
  • Escalate findings as per HSEW process and manage remedial activities completion and Support supplier service review process
  • Support Project liaison and delivery issue resolution & report

Who are we looking for?

  • Expert knowledge of telecommunications installation practices and standards (civils, cable and splicing)
  • Good knowledge of HS&E monitoring, management and reporting processes
  • Understanding of H&S legislation (inc CDM2012),
  • Understanding of telecommunications networks
Ability to carry out OTDR and ILM testing and understand fibre test results (desirable)

  • NRSWA accredited to assess on site compliance against chapter 8 of New Roads and Street Works Act
  • IOSH, Construction Skills Certification Scheme accreditation or similar
  • NEBOSH accredited
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • PC Literate.
