Responsibilities;

  • Responsbile for managing a number of property managers and administrators by delegating and overseeing the department
  • Ensuring all properties and buildings are compliant and constantly keeping abreast of changing legislation
  • Building relationships with landlords and seeing opportunities to grow managed stock
  • Attend regular training and networking events
  • Handling complaints and managing expectations between clients and tenants
  • Identify ways to improve the department where necessary
  • Staff appraisals and conducting internal training
  • Set targets and host regular meetings
  • Occasionally book in relevant property checks including gas, electric, EPC, PAT and more (but generally overseeing that the property manages and administrators do this)
  • Ensuring all documents are processed accurately and in a timely manner
  • Coordinating property inspections and write ups


Knowledge of property licensing and regulations would be desirable for the role but as a minimum, a background in Property Management is required.

- any driving offences must be disclosed for the purposes of insurance).

There will be a requirement to have the emergency phone on a rota system.


Hours of work to be confirmed but ideally 8-4.30pm Monday to Friday with Saturdays worked on a rota 9.30am-10am with time back in lieu through week.

During busy periods (summer changeovers) there will be a requirement to work extra to facilitate but time is again given back in lieu.


Salary:
£25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
