Chef Managerbased in
Kentish Town, London. You will join us on a
full-time permanent basis, and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of
£34,000 per annum, plus benefits.

The Role
Are you creative, passionate about food and looking to make a difference?


We are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic individual for an exciting opportunity to manage one of our social enterprise cafés.

Our cafes use the funds they generate to provide training and create jobs and apprentice positions for people with a learning disability looking to build skills and careers in catering.


The Cafe Manager will support and train people with a learning disability, whilst being responsible for the overall management and performance of the cafe.

As part of this role, you will be training catering tasks such as barista skills, customer service and culinary skills.

You will work as part of a dynamic team to provide a professional service delivering high quality food and drinks to the local community.


What do you need to become our Chef Manager?

  • Previous experience of running a café for minimum two years
  • NVQ or equivalent in cooking and food service
  • Level 3 food safety certificate
  • Level 3 health and safety certificate
  • Food allergens certificate
  • Evidence of training multiple trainees, both front and back of house, including cooking
  • Previous experience of working with people with learning disabilities
  • Evidence of having an organised, patient manner
  • Evidence of excellent customer service
  • A proven track record of achievements in a management role is essential for the role.
