CareerMakers are currently recruiting for a "
Soldering Assembly Operative" for our client based in Bolton, BL3.

This is an excellent role for someone with soldering assembly experience.

Our client based in the Shipley area are currently expanding their existing assembly team due to growth.

THE ROLE

All aspects of strain gauge bonding including surface preparation, position layout, gauge handling, clamping and curing.
All aspects of strain gauge wiring including soldering, wire and cable preparation, bridge balance and temperature compensation.
The use of various coating materials and preparation of connector and loom assemblies.
A good knowledge of production departmental processes and procedures and quality assurance procedures.
Various assembly works including, attaching printed circuit boards.
To read and understand basic job instruction drawings.
Basic calibration/test and the preparation of test result sheets and associated test data.
To follow good practices in health and safety and housekeeping at all times.
To undertake, within reason any other task at the request of a Supervisor, Manager or Director.

Soldering skills would be advantageous but not necessary as training will be provided.

Working Hours

Monday to Thursday
08:00am 16:00pm
Friday
08:00am 15:30pm.

Pay Rate
- £10.50 per hour
