Job title:
Junior Cost Controller

Job description:

The Junior Cost Controller is responsible for the management and reporting of all costs and revenues of project he/she has been allocated and could also assist Senior Cost Engineer / Cost Control manager by managing a portion of the scope of the project he/she has been allocated.


Main Tasks -
During contract execution

  • Main Roles and Responsibilities
  • Assist Senior / Cost Engineer for larger projects by performing analysis and compiling information
  • Preparation of project backup for invoicing and administration of the invoicing process
  • Assist on internal and external invoice approval
  • Followup on manhours and cost monitoring for the updates of changes to the forecast
  • Responsible for compiling Vessel DPRs (Daily Progress Report)
  • Assist in Monthly Project Cost Report computation
  • Follow up reimbursable costs
  • Increase other Department awareness of the Cost Control function
  • Review of commitments
  • Assist procurement on invoices from Subcontractors /Suppliers
  • Key tasks: Develop or Assist Senior / Cost Engineer needs to develop and maintain reporting requirements
  • Manpower forecasting
  • Vessel forecasting
  • Change Control (Budget Transfer / VO and changes to Forecast)
  • Cost sensitivities analysis
  • Other reporting requirements

Qualifications:


Must have:

  • Finance/Business Bachelor / Master and/or qualification
  • Fresh Graduate up to 3 years of experience of Cost Control depending on project size and complexity

Nice to have:

  • Experience in the oil and gas industry
  • Understanding of Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with large companies and an ERP system (GEOS
  • Oracle)
Experience/Skill/Knowledge

  • Finance/Business Bachelor / Master and/or qualification
  • Fresh Graduate up to 3 years of experience of Cost Control depending on project size and complexity
Technical/General/Competencies

  • Microsoft Office, Excel, Oracle
