As part of our technical team, you'll work closely with ForrestBrown's tax specialists to help uncover the full extent of our clients' R&D, helping them to maximise their claims - giving clients in exciting industries extra funds to spark a new project or create something truly remarkable.
What does that look like on a day-to-day basis? We'll look to you to collaborate with our clients and research key information about their industry to ensure our colleagues understand why a project qualifies for relief, as well as showing our clients that we understand their business and the intricacies of their R&D.
Your role will involve regular contact with our clients, discussing their technically complex work in detail to uncover the information needed to make a compelling case for the R&D projects discussed.
You'll then help produce high-quality written reports presenting those projects to support the claim, helping to clearly communicate the detail of the innovation that our clients are undertaking, and to demonstrate how that innovation meets the criteria set out by HMRC.
Our work is broad and varied and you will be excited by the opportunity to meet and discuss innovation with clients across a whole variety of sectors including your specialist field in software, as well as renewables, construction, retail, and manufacturing.
