Job Title:
Care Homes Painter and Decorator

Contract Type:
Permanent - Full Time 40 hours a week

Location:
Bristol

Salary:
PS15.00 per hour

Carry out decorating tasks throughout the homes including painting, contract wallpapering, plasterwork repairs & woodwork repairs.
Assisting contractors
Carry out reactive and preventative repair tasks
Diagnosing issues and correcting them
Always adhere to safe working practices
Assist where required in other maintenance tasks around the homes

Personal qualities and experience

Qualified minimum NVQ Level 2 in suitable discipline or evidenced time served experience
Strong organization skills
An ability to meet high standards and a keen eye for detail
A clean and safe worker
Strong time management skills
Further trade skills advantageous in carpentry, plumbing, electrics etc.
Previous experience working as a dedicated Painter and Decorator
The work will be within the Health & Social Care Sector so experience in this sector is desirable, but not essential.
Trusted to manage your own day and workload effectively
Always delivering an outstanding service to residents with the understanding that you are working in their home.
