Description

One of London's leading software companies are seeking a new Marketing Researcher to join their team on an immediate starting 12 month contract role.

In this role, you will take charge of researching all aspects of the market on behalf of their organisation,oversee responsibility for completing different research tasks, analysing raw data, conducting assessments, surveys, and other research to obtain valuable information on the market in which their company operates.

This will be a hybrid working opportunity, with 2-3 days required in house in their London based HQ.


Key Role Requirements:


  • Effectively create detailed research reports and generate conclusions based on findings.
  • Work collabortively with internal teams with the product teams to identify research topics, sharing information with other researchers, working with design, product marketing, product management, content strategy, and engineering teams to develop moreeffective company offerings.
  • Conduct inperson, telephone, and online assessments to gather opinions on the products and services offered by their company.
  • Confidently communicate results and illustrate suggestions in compelling and creative ways.
  • Support in the development of marketing plans.
  • Consistently track and analyse marketing and sales trends, forecasts and prepare reports in order to measure the effectiveness of programs.
  • Conduct research market conditions in specific areas, and analyse customer preferences to determine potential sales of a product or service.
  • Gather data on competitors and past sales to analyse prices and methods of marketing and distribution.

Key skills Required:


  • 7+ years of marketing experience, including 5 years of specific research roles.
  • Specific research experience within the B2C space
  • Significant experience and evidence of turning research outcomes into actionable insights to drive business strategy and positive (measured) outcomes
  • Experience in analytics and the ability to partner with the analytics team to shape and strengthen the research plan and findings
  • Experience in building out customer segmentation and personas
  • Experience in a mix of long and short term research methods
  • Ability to turn research around in short spaces of time experience of doing this will be critical in this role.
  • Previous experience with a range of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies e.g.
1:1 interviews, focus groups, surveys, conjoint, segmentation, max diff, etc.

  • Experienced in brand metric and perception modelling
  • Ability to provide examples of creating actionable insights using data points.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skillset ability to share clear examples of using data for customer insights, measurement, ROI analysis and recommendations.
