Job Description:


We are currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team as Temporary Traffic Management Operatives, on a self-employed basis, and as direct employees in certain circumstances.

The rates of pay for M1/M2 qualified
self-employed personnel are £14 p/h and M5/M6 qualified
self-employed personnel are £16 per hour.

M1/M2 qualified operatives employed directly will be paid at a rate of £13 standard rate and £16 over time rate.

M5/M6 qualified operatives employed directly will be paid at a rate of £14 standard rate and £17 over time rate.

As a key member of our company, you will play a crucial role in supporting our mission to create safe and smooth traffic conditions for both drivers and pedestrians.


Responsibilities:


Set-Up and Take-Down:
Efficiently deploy and dismantle temporary traffic management equipment, including cones, signs, and barriers.

Traffic Control:

Direct traffic as per established guidelines to ensure the safety of workers, pedestrians, and drivers in and around work zones.


Communication:

Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with drivers and pedestrians to ensure smooth traffic flow and address inquiries.


Safety Compliance:
Adhere to safety protocols, wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE), and actively contribute to a safe working environment.

Equipment Maintenance:
Conduct routine checks on equipment, report any issues promptly, and ensure proper storage and maintenance.

Documentation:
Complete necessary paperwork and documentation related to job assignments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company procedures.


Qualifications:
- hold a valid TTMBC, as a minimum, and be prepared to undertake training for higher tickets

  • Previous experience in temporary traffic management or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
  • Physical fitness and the ability to lift and move traffic management equipment.

Pay:
£13.00-£17.00 per hour
