Description
Membrane proteins continue to be key therapeutic targets in the fight against a multitude of disease types.

Our client are a global biopharmaceutical company specializing in developing innovative therapeutics with a particular focus on neurology and immunology.


To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Hold a PhD or 4-5 years of experience with a focus on in recombinant membrane protein production
  • Be able to interrogate protein structures to optimize expression construct design
  • Have experience working with a range of expression systems e.g. E.coli, insect cell, and mammalian cell.
  • Bring extensive knowledge of advanced protein purification, including AKTA purification platforms
  • Ideally have experience producing membrane proteins in nanodiscs, liposomes, and SMALPS.
