1:1 Teaching Assistant - Bexley
Tempest Education are seeking to appoint a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join a friendly Primary School in Bexley.

1:1 Teaching Assistant - The Primary School:
This primary school is based in Bexley is a three-form entry primary school with fantastic transport links.

As a teaching assistant, you must have the ability to work as an effective team member, be well organised and have the ability to communicate withchildren and adults in a constructive and effective way.

The Bexley based primary school is rated an 'Outstanding' on the Ofsted and has fantastic transport links and onsite parking.

As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant your main responsibility will include working 1:1 with a child in KS1 that has been diagnosed with autism.

This child responds extremely well to someone with a nurturing manor.

You will be supporting the child with their workinside and outside the classroom, working alongside the class teacher and liaising with the school SENCO.

The successful 1:1 Teaching Assistant must have:

Experience with Special Educational Needs
Experience of working with or caring for children
Strong behavioural management skills (preferred)
Be committed to promoting high standards in learning
A clear DBS

Main Responsibilities of a 1:1 Teaching Assistant:

Working 1:1 with a child in KS
Working alongside the Class Teacher
Supporting the child inside and outside the classroom
Liaising with the school SENCO
Be enthusiastic and motivated

1:1 Teaching Assistant - Additional information:

Monday
Friday
8:30am 3:30pm

- £85 - £90 per day

Long term / permanent contract
