Due to recent success at RSM, we are looking to grow our Outsourcing team and welcome five Outsourcing Seniors in the following locations: London, Guildford, Newcastle, Bury St Edmunds and Reading.

RSM's Outsourcing division provides outsourced finance, HR and payroll services to a wide range of clients. This is a unique opportunity for ambitious individuals to work in a growing, sector-focused team in a mid-tier firm.

You will be responsible for a portfolio of clients and support our Outsourcing function by providing a high-quality accounting service, as well as developing client relationships alongside your own professional growth.

This role will be central to the achievement of the wider team's strategic objectives.

Responsibilities
Key responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Taking responsibility of a client portfolio, acting as the day-to-day main point of contact for the client. Ensuring accurate preparation of management accounts, VAT returns, and other tasks within deadlines and budgets set.
  • Working collaboratively with corporate tax, accounting and advisory and audit teams on yearend deliverables.
  • Building strong relationships internally to provide clients with information on other RSM service lines relevant to their business and participating in Outsourcing Team meetings, being an ambassador for Outsourcing and the wider firm.
  • Sharing your knowledge and expertise with the team and taking an active role in developing and coaching more junior members of the team in; management reporting, VAT returns and soft skills such as communication and problemsolving.
  • Managing client and thirdparty relationships and delivering an excellent level of client service and stakeholder management from initial client meetings, through transition, liaising with other key contacts and assisting with the development of the client's accounting system, to steady state and ongoing service delivery, building trust, monitoring service standards and implementing efficiencies and improvements.

Personal and professional qualities

  • Excellent compliance skills with limited supervision, including knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills allowing you to quickly build rapport with client principals and colleagues.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills, adhering strictly to client reporting deadlines.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple clients and deliverables.
