Sharp Consultancy are excited to be working with a global manufacturing specialist that are an industry leading organisation who turnover £100million+ in recruiting a UK Accountant as part of their strategic growth plan.

This opportunity will play a keyrole in a progressive finance function as well as making commercial impact.

You will take full responsibility for overseeing accounting procedures, forecasting and budgeting, balance sheet reconciliations, VAT returns and compliance for all entities while making critical business decisions to ensure business growth and long-term successby analysing and presenting key financial data.

This opportunity offers development from a technical perspective but equally develops the commercial skill set too as it is an all-encompassing finance / operational position.


Responsibilities:


  • Supporting the FC to produce monthly management accounts
  • Preparation of budgeting and interim forecasting
  • Main point of contact for managers for financial support and queries on P&Ls
  • Variance and trend analysis
  • Production and posting of journals
  • Ensure balance sheet reconciliations are prepared monthly
  • Complete VAT returns on monthly and quarterly basis
  • Support with yearend statutory audit process
  • Carry out reconciliations on all bank accounts
  • Process Improvement
