Regulatory Team Leader - Knutsford, Cheshire.

Amelia Knight Ltd:
Leading global manufacturers of cosmetics and beauty products, serving both private label and brands. We have sites in the UK and China.


We are looking for a
Regulatory Team Leader to join our rapidly growing, high energy business in the Northwest of England.

We design and manufacture for private label and branded cosmetic regulated products from concept and design to delivery.


Our regulatory team are focused on both regulatory compliance and customer need to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality and commerciality.


The role will work closely with the Brand, NPD, Manufacturing, Laboratory and Commercial teams to provide expert technical knowledge to the support of both new formulations and maintenance of the full AK portfolio.


The key responsibilities of the role are:

  • To lead a team of regulatory professionals, ensuring all training and personal developments are met.
  • Ensuring all regulatory policies and processes are in place to deliver compliant global products. This includes the development and maintenance of Cosmetic Product Information Files (PIFs), claims substantiation and the management of Cosmetic Product Safety Reports (CPSRs).
  • Ensure all AK & customer requirements are met. This includes the requirements of; The Vegan Society, Cruelty Free International (CFI) and Round Table for Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) etc.
  • Managing an effective global regulatory horizon scanning process to ensure our regulatory processes remain futurefit.
  • An experienced regulatory technician with a minimum of 5 years in cosmetic's regulatory affairs. Ideally with global reach.
  • Calm underpressure and able to balance often conflicting priorities.
  • Of at least graduate calibre in a sciencebased discipline.
  • An experienced people leader with a proven track record of developing results driven teams.
