I'm delighted to be partnering with a well established manufacturing business, as they look to appoint their next Financial Controller.

Forming part of a wider group this is a great opportunity for someone to be a solid number two to the Finance Director,and get exposure to the wider group.


This role will take responsibility for all of the finance reporting, including management reporting, financial and regulatory reporting as well as the budgeting and forecasting for the business too.

You'll manage a small team of 6 on the day to day sideof things and work very closely with other senior finance members and the FD.


What You'll Do:


  • Monthly and quarterly reporting
  • Support with financial reporting, including statutory reporting
  • Work closely with operational stakeholders and look at ways to improve variousKPIs
  • Revenue
  • Costs
  • Margins
  • Productivity
  • Lead the annual budget and forecasting process
  • Conduct variance analysis and commentary for actual and budget figures
  • Have accountability and responsibility of your team, including 1:1s, upskilling, training etc

What You'll need?

  • Ideally a qualified accountant, but a QBE with proven experience would also be considered
  • Experience in reporting processes, both management and financial
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics
  • Background in working in a manufacturing or similar environment
