We are currently recruiting for a Catering Assistant to assist with the preparation, presentation, service and cleaning of the site to the company's standard and the client's satisfaction.

As the Catering Assistant you will ensure a standard of personal and general cleanliness and hygiene as to comply with
**company, statutory regulations, policies and procedures'.

Key Responsibilities

To assist as directed with all aspects of food service preparation and presentation:

To serve customers in the appropriate manner:

-
To lead and provide food and beverages at service counters and to ensure sufficient supplies throughout the service periods:

To take money at cash desks, ensure current prices are charged and reconcile cash takings where appropriate:

To ensure that the meals and services comply with the agreed budgetary standard and cost
:

To ensure restaurant tables and service areas are left clean and adequately stocked during service times and replenished as required:

-
To ensure your immediate working area is clean and tidy at all times:

-
To undertake all aspects in cleaning equipment, walls, fixtures and fittings, pots, pans, cutlery, glassware etc according to cleaning rotas or as required and directed:

To ensure that all stores and other areas of potential loss are secured at all times

To carry out any reasonable management request:

To receive and implement any training required:

-
To assist at any special duties or functions which may fall outside of normal working hours:

To report any customer complaints or compliments and take remedial action wherever possible:

To attend meetings, courses and training sessions as may be necessary from time to time:

To relieve and assist in other areas within the unit or other establishments.
