Their depot in Castle Donington are seeking a Team Administrator, supporting the Team Manager, within their Design and Development Team.
This is a temporary contract intially until the end of May 23, this is an opportunity to get your foot in the door witha large organisation with permanent opportunities.
Excellent hourly rate, holiday entitlement rising to 26 days + bank holidays after 12 weeks, free parking**Key accountabilites of the Team Administrator will include: - **- The management and updating of Protection System and Transformer Test records databases.
- Updating of other databases (e.g. PSSE)
- The coordination and checking of projects for technical and financial approval and associated tasks.
- The coordination and contribution of team activities.
- The control of finance within the team.
- The verification and checking of system data as part of annual load checking tasks
- The organisation of own work and the team's work.
- Administrative support to the team.
- The cost effectiveness of own work.
- Own performance and behaviour and that of the team.
- The contribution of own team to the achievement of combined objectives.
- The impact of project and own activities on customers, public and the environment.
- The health and safety of the team.
- The quality of own work.
- Own personal development and the development of the team.
- The identification of necessary physical resources.
- The representation of the team and the Company at the team and the individual level.
- Updating and checking the transformer test certificate database
- Updating of PSSE database.
- Assisting engineers with annual load/demand checking task by verifying background data sets and associated Enmac network running arrangements, including abnormal running.
- Contact point for external conveyancing solicitor's payment requests. Raise payments / disbursements associated with CJN's for easement and land acquisition schemes for Distribution and Telecoms business.
- Liaise with customers to ensure their needs and expectations are met.
- Determine what will be done by whom in the short term (tomorrow to one month) within known constraints.
- Update records.
- Resolve customer complaints, wherever possible directly.
- Refer difficult complaints to the Team Manager.
- Set up project scheme files and CJNs, close down on completion.
It is essential you are able to communicate effectively both verbally, and in writing, with customers and other team members as you must be able to represent the company positively at all times.
The following areas of experience would be advantageous:
- Utilities, energy, engineering, construction, maintenance, infrastructure, administration or secretarial experience, customer service
