An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and focused Administration Team Leader to join the GI Services Team.

The Division incorporates surgical and medical specialties that manage diseases and disorders of the digestive system.

The role is responsible for the careful management of RTT and diagnostic pathways and waiting times with direct line management responsibility of a team of RTT validators.


You will be a team player with excellent communication skills and a drive and energy to improve the patient experience.

Knowledge of 18-week and pathway management would be advantageous.

  • Operational representative for RTT across the division
  • Line management of RTT validators
  • Leading local PTL meetings Offering support and advice to other members of the admin team on RTT matters
  • Validating patient RTT and diagnostic pathways
  • Overseeing the review and clean up of DQ reports
  • General administration and office duties
The division incorporates surgical and medical specialties that manage diseases and disorders of the digestive system. The role is responsible for overseeing the validation of the referral to treatment pathways.


You will undertake a key role in a busy and demanding elective service, working with the rest of our team to ensure we deliver on a range of targets including RTT compliance and waiting list management.


You will work closely with your colleagues, with a view to providing a streamlined pathway for patients in the service.
