K&D are delighted to be supporting our local client based in Aylesbury who are looking for a Logistics Administrator Our client specialises in highly regulated and controlled goods, continuing to grow since 2014 they are now excited to be able to bringan additional person into their business

What you will need?

The client is flexible.

Someone who has some basic import / export experience would be considered, as would someone who has a number of year's experience.

Providing you have a solid attitude to learn and grow and have previously worked in a customer facingenvironment, then you will be of interest as training will be provided.

As Logistics Administrator you will be responsible for the following duties; issuing the correct documents on behalf of the customer to ensure that customs are cleared, liaison with customers, suppliers, government agencies and freight forwarders to prepareand process custom clearances, ensuring that invoices and shipping manifests confirm to tariff and custom regulations.

The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines is essential. You will also need to be someone that can take ownership of tasks and think on your feet.

In return the client offers a salary between £23-26k dependant on experience. The role is office based but the client offers flexible hours.
