Responsibilities of a Senior Care Assistant include:
- To provide leadership to the care staff within Brockington House
- Ensure Ladies and Gentlemen's are at the heart of the care delivery and their wishes and preferences enhance their wellbeing
- To ensure that all staff contribute to the efficient running of the service and supervise staff
- Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of those individuals they support
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as required
Essential Requirements of a Care Assistant
- Excellent communication skills
- Senior Carers need to build rapport with Ladies and Gentlemen's by establishing personal connections and showing interest in their lives
- Senior Carers need to be able to adapt and address situations quickly
- Proficient written skill
- Proficient IT skills
Desirable Requirements of a Healthcare Assistant
- NVQ level 3 or equivalent
