Maintenance Invoice Controller - 12-Month FTC - Maternity Cover
KLM UK Engineering Limited is a leading UK-based Maintenance Repair Organisation (MRO) offering aircraft maintenance from its head office location at Norwich Airport with over 40 years of experience on many aircraft types and 6 fully equipped, modern, heavy maintenance bays across 3 hangars.
As a Maintenance Invoice Controller, you will be responsible for accurately producing labour and material invoices, supporting cost schedules, and producing regular reports for customer reps in relation to base maintenance aircraft checks, workshop repairs and line maintenance work.
Key tasks and responsibilities:
- Analyse labour hours for production of invoice and customer representative reports in accordance with customer requirements and customer contract.
- Analyse materials consumed for production of invoice and customer representative reports in accordance with customer requirements and customer contract.
- Assist the costing unit in producing labour and material cost information for quotations and tenders.
- Customer debt chasing
- Line Maintenance invoicing via LMARS
- Workshops third party Invoicing of labour and materials.
- Ad hoc Invoicing of material spares and tooling loans
Skills, Qualifications and Experience
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft programmes, particularly Excel
- Experience in double entry bookkeeping or part AAT qualified
- Effective written and verbal communication
- The ability to build strong relationships and trust with internal and external stakeholders
- GCSE (or equivalent) grade C or above in Maths and English
- The ability to evaluate priorities and to make timely and effective decisions.
- Strong commercial and financial awareness
- Commitment to continuous improvement, and be comfortable to suggest process improvements relevant to your role
Ideal start date:
March/April 2023 so that a comprehensive hand over can be achieved.
Salary Range:
£20,000 to £23,000 per annum, depending on experience.
