Care Assistant

Thorngate Churcher Trust, a prestigious registered care home, specializes in delivering high-quality care for older people and those living with dementia. We are seeking Care Assistants to join our team to provide exceptional support and care to residents.

As a Care Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting in the overall care and welfare of residents, including supporting daily living tasks such as personal hygiene, dressing, toileting, and meal preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist residents with personal care and daily living activities as directed by senior staff.
Support residents who require help with various tasks, including food preparation, laundry, and shopping.
Assist in teaching and maintaining skills of residents to promote independence.
Participate in planning and reviewing individual resident care plans.
Ensure due regard is given to residents' well-being, privacy, dignity, freedom of choice, physical, emotional, spiritual, and social needs.

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Contract: Full-time, day shift, permanent contract

Location: Gosport, Hampshire
