Financial Reporting Accountant

Surrey

£50,000 - £60,000 per annum

I am currently working with a insurance company based in Surrey, looking for an accountant to join their External Reporting Team.

This is a full time permanent role with 1 day a week in the office

Role Specific Accountability:

External reporting
Manage the monthly financial close process
Analysis and modelling
Lead monthly results meetings to ensure that Finance understand the key drivers.
Identifying gaps in understanding of UK reporting requirements within the Financial Reporting Team and recommend action to reduce these gaps.

The Person:
*Fully or Part qualified ACCA/ ACA/ CIMA
*Previous external accounting experience
*Insurance experience or financial experience is essential
*Ability to document and produce commentary to enable a wider understanding of key financial movements.
*High level of technical knowledge in relation to accounting and regulatory changes.
