What is a personal assistant?

Personal assistants support individuals in their own homes as well as out in the community, helping them to live as independently as possible.

The Role

We require an enthusiastic and caring individual to assist a young woman with complex health needs, to allow her to live as independently as possible and engage with her local community.

This role will require someone who can help plan meaningful activities, social gatherings and assist with all aspects of day-to-day living including:

Preparing meals & feeding, Personal care, Moving & handling, Driving a wheelchair accessible vehicle
Hours of cover needed are Week 1 Sunday day 9am6pm, Week 2 Saturday night 6pm9am, Week 3 Sunday day 9am6pm, Week 4 Saturday night 6pm9am

Full training will be provided.

A DBS will be paid for by the employer.
