Description

We currently have a vacancy for a Mental Health Practitioner to work within our Shropshire Mental Health Support Team, which covers a number of schools across Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin.

Current vacancy is within our new MHST Team working across schools in Whitchurch and Market Drayton.

The role will appeal to qualified Mental Health Nurses, Children's Wellbeing Practitioners, Education Mental Health Practitioners and Social Workers, with post qualifying experience of delivering evidence based interventions to children and young people.


With 1 in 6 school children having a mental health problem the role delivers on the proposals outlined in the _2017 Government Green Paper 'Transforming Children & Young People's Mental Health' _providing early intervention support and promoting whole school approaches to mental health wellbeing.
