This is a development post for an experienced Band 6/ new Band 7 who is keen to develop their skills in this clinical area.

There will be a clear development/ competency framework to support your progress. The post-holder will work autonomously as a Highly Specialist SLT within a community setting.

You will independently manage a caseload of clients in special schools and will oversee and further develop our AAC provision in partnership with other local services and existing team members.

You will provide high quality speech and language therapy in close conjunction with families and other professionals working with the same client group.

The successful applicant must be flexible, a good team worker, used to working under pressure, have excellent interpersonal and IT skills and be able to communicate effectively with patients, carers and other members of the MDT.
