Do you have Company Secretary experience, and are you seeking a new job in the North West?
Electricity North West is looking for an Assistant Company Secretary, This is a full-time role that comes with a favourable salary and benefits package.
As an Assistant Company Secretary, you will proactively engage with the legal, company secretarial and wider directorate teams to lead the provision of a professional, succinct and efficient service across the company.
In your first few weeks in this Company Secretarial role, you can expect to:
- Ensure the effective servicing of the Group Boards, Committees and associated meetings
- Act as a point of contact for the business in matters relating to governance and company secretarial work
- Make filings with Companies House to ensure that the Group of companies are statutory complaint
- Assist in the preparation of Annual Reports and Confirmation Statements
- Ensure stock exchange announcements are carried out when required.
You will also need to be a qualified company secretary or lawyer that enjoys working in a varied role and willing to assist with different legal and secretariat matters.
Additional requirements include:
- Experience of a Company Secretarial role
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to build strong working relationships quickly and demonstrate a proactive 'cando' attitude and a willingness to assist the team wherever needed
- Flexible with the ability to adapt to change, new practices and cope under pressure.
