Description

Acorn is currently recruiting for a Trainee Internal Project Coordinator for a global manufacturer of design and retail equipment. This role will be working tree days from home, two days in the office.

The main purpose of the Internal Project Coordinator is to fully support the Account and Project Managers in the delivery of customer satisfaction, to liaise with Account and Project Manager and internal departments to ensure orders, deliveries and stock areaccurate and on time.

Supply admin and sales support to Account and Project Managers, to purchase materials at best price and within budgetary targets, to manage materials logistics to site, including progress chasing.

The role:

Attend team meetings
Ensure materials arrive at site at correct time and quantity
Provide necessary input into internal departments to ensure customer/Project Manager requirements are met
Utilise Sage to complete purchase order numbers
Taking all bespoke order enquiries and present to Pricing Dept
Provide quotations for small order enquiries back to Account and Project Managers being able to read an estimate and establish who has placed the order
Provide full admin support to Account and Project managers
Manage Project Managers diaries
Schedules B and C Team meetings
Places orders for all materials required as specified
Raising quotations and picking sheets
Progress chasing orders and quotations to ensure delivery on time and to customer satisfaction
Negotiates best prices for materials to ensure budgeted costs achieved

Role requirements:

5 GCSE grades A/B or O Levels, including English and Maths
Previous experience in shop fitting or similar back ground
Familiarity with Microsoft packages
Previous experience in sales support or customer service roles
