Our client is a large PE backed recruitment firm, who are continuing to see a growing presence across the UK and Europe.

To support the growth, they are looking to hire an experienced professional to join their accounts team, assisting with accountancy dutiesas well as internal payroll processes.


Key duties will include:

  • Preparation of monthly sales analysis for some entities within the group.
  • Update daily cash availability spreadsheets to ensure liabilities can be met.
  • Assist in monthend duties including reconciliations, accruals and prepayments.
  • Provide Ad hoc analysis.
  • Managing the monthly payroll process, including:
  • Maintaining the payroll system
  • Uploading new employee data and processing leavers
  • Calculating commissions and liaising with business leaders to ensure accuracy
  • Manage HMRC obligations and compliance through PAYE, P11D and PSA submissions and payments.
  • Manage employee pensions
  • Help coordinate payrolls for international entities and liaise with external accountants
  • Post payroll journals and assist in the reconciliation of corresponding balance sheet accounts
The Person

  • Experience working with management accounts
  • Experience processing internal payroll.
  • Experience working as part of a busy environment.
  • Selfmotivated and able to work under own initiative.
  • Skilled at using Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Part qualified desirable
  • Experience working within recruitment desirable
  • Sage system experience desiarable
