Workforce Planning and Deployment Administrator


Salary:
£28,511 to £30,504 plus a Location allowance of £1,721. You will receive £28,511 the band minimum. Progress to the band maximum of £30,504 will be via incremental progression.

Your Key Responsibilities


The Workforce Deployment Administrator will work collaboratively with colleagues across HR Service Delivery to support the delivery of the corporate workforce plan.

They will undertake administrative tasks in support of the wider team.

This includes (but is not limited to) actions such as managing group inboxes, work queues, answering general queries, updating spreadsheets, maintaining contact lists and sending out meeting requests and agendas.


The post holder will be supporting the monthly deployment of all corporate resource - circa 50,000 (officers, staff, PCSOs, MSC, secondees, agency workers) - across the whole organisation of circa 70 business units and operational OCUs to match operational and budgetary need against conflicting demands.

They will be deputising for the Workforce Deployment Officers as required (band D).

  • Able to book meetings, manage calendar invites, take notes/minutes in meetings, collate actions
  • Previous experience of Oracle HR is desirable as well as good Excel skills
  • Customer focused prioritising the customer experience. Maintain relationships with key stakeholders
  • Interested in solving problems. Able to see the bigger picture and understand how their actions impact on it
