RIFT Social Enterprise is a not-for-profit organisation supporting people who are furthest away from the employment market, including those with convictions, disabilities and the long-term unemployed.

Offering guidance, advice and training, RIFT Social Enterprise helps beneficiaries improve their understanding of their tax situation and entitlements, helps them resolve tax issues, reclaim or pay tax owed and enable them to leave prison with their tax affairs in order.

It also supports people who are interested in becoming self-employed for many months after they have first established contact.

About the role


We have an exciting opportunity to join the RIFT Social Enterprise team in a role where you will take responsibility for providing the SLT with business performance data, analysis, and commentary to monitor performance, while maintaining and strengthening good working relationships with contract partners and referrers.


Training will be provided, and you will gain experience rapidly in this role, to succeed you will need to have a genuine interest in performance management and quality assurance.

To thrive in the role, you will have these core skills:

  • Strong analytical skills including intermediate excel as a minimum as this role is all about analysing data and drawing conclusions to drive performance improvement.
  • You should be confident and able to discuss performance with external partners and our senior leadership team.
  • You will be resilient and tenacious, able to selfmotivate and able to work collaboratively with your team, be a critical thinker and able to deal with changing priorities and heavy workloads.
  • You should also be comfortable dealing with daytoday participant queries from people who have served prison sentences.
