An exciting opportunity has arisen for an 8b Clinical Psychologist within the Paediatric Psychology team, to offer a Paediatric Liaison service.

A large aspect of the work will be supporting young people who have been admitted to the Children's hospital. Examples include unexplained medical symptoms, chronic pain or functional neurological disorder.

You will work in conjunction with paediatric teams and other community and mental health professionals involved with children and young people, to develop a joined-up care pathway to meet the specific needs of the child and their family.

The Paediatric Psychology Team is a team of 16 and we are continuing to grow. We are a specialist team, in a larger CAMHS provision within Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.

Paediatric Liaison is a new team and recruitment is planned for nursing, psychiatry and occupational therapy time, so will be an exciting opportunity to develop a new service with multi-disciplinary colleagues.
