Description

JOB PURPOSE

  • Ensure that all company policies and procedures are adhered to at all times
  • Consistently exceed customer expectations (Internal & External)
  • Maintains standards in line with the business needs & franchise contract

JOB SCOPE

  • Responsible for completion of accurate information in a timely manner for the Finance function
  • Mentoring and coaching the sales ledger assistant
  • Working with the departmental managers to support them with their debt management
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise the daily banking and the chasing/clearing of anomalies
  • Supervise the printing and posting of SBI payments
  • Supervise the sales ledger credit accounts:
  • Accounts on stop
  • Account increase/decrease credit limits
  • Sending out of statements at month end
  • Supervise cash sales matching and chasing queries with departmental managers
  • Supervise daily vehicle reconciliations and chasing queries with the departmental managers
  • Supervise the posting of vehicle commissions and chase anomalies
  • Supervise and cover for processing of sales ledger refunds
  • Raising Adhoc invoices for external parties
  • Sales ledger reconciliation (understanding all balances) and working with our customers to retrieve all debts owing
  • Head up our debt recovery and attend court cases if required
  • Process and manage any vehicle accident insurance claims
  • Other work as required
