Your Challenge

We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Coordinator to join our ever growing team in Swarco Smart Charging.

SWARCO Smart Charging is part of the SWARCO Group.

Established for over a decade in the UK market, the Smart Charging team deliver continuous sales growth, in a rapidly expanding and maturing industry sector.

Working with public and private sector customers the team support EV charging infrastructure projects through design, product supply, installation, software platform operation, service and maintenance.

Your role is to support the Head of New Business Development, Head of eBus and eTruck Sales and Business Development Managers to:

  • Liaise with supply chain and sub-contractors to obtain quotation requests to support project cost builds
  • Building cost proposals from price books
  • Developing sales proposals to templates
  • Supporting social media communications and activity
  • Use SalesForce CRM tool to support real time performance monitoring of sales opportunities, extracting regular SalesForce reports to inform sales team forecasting and monthly reporting
  • Support the team by preparing presentations slides with accurate industry and product information.
  • Work closely with the Marketing department to ensure that press releases and new business win stories are published on our website and new promotional and product related literature is compiled or updated
  • Update and version control of product price books
  • Join customer meetings and support Business Development Managers at exhibitions and events
Your Profile

  • People focused, with enthusiasm to work with and support customers and sales team colleagues
  • Confident communicator willing and able to manage discussions with customers and internal team members to receive, ask questions, understand and support requests and opportunities
  • Good organisational, administration and coordination skills
  • Motivated to flexibly support team to help reach combined sales targets
  • Interest in continued training with SWARCO Smart Charging product and business services and Business Development sales activity, with an opportunity to progress within the team and business as appropriate
  • Strong motivation to achieve, well organised and structured approach to work
  • Reasonable level of Maths and English to complete cost and written proposals with price book, template and process support
  • Experience of or an enthusiasm for talking to and working with people, both internal and external
  • Basic understanding of IT, including professional social media (LinkedIn, Twitter) and MS office packages (SalesForce CRM knowledge useful but not essential)
  • An interest in sales, account management and/or EV sector experience
