GREENKEEPER 1 JUNE 2023

Job Title:
Assistant Greenkeeper

Line Manager:
Course Manager

Salary:
As agreed at acceptance of role with General Manager/Line Manager

Entry into the Club's Pension Scheme, 20 Days holiday plus Bank Holidays.

Normal Hours - 6am-3pm
Monday to Friday, plus weekend mornings as agreed by the Course Manager.

Roles/Responsibilities:

Maintaining golf course and all other areas associated with Cooden Beach Golf Club in line Course Manager/General Committee current course strategy policy document. Full training is given.
Operating and maintaining machinery as per Line manager requirements always observing health & safety
Be qualified to a minimum of Level 2 sports Turf maintenance, or be prepared to gain the qualification
Be prepared to contribute and work within a team

You are entitled to play the course for free by arrangement with the General Manager.
Cooden Beach Golf Club encourages you to join BIGGA and undertake relevant training. The Club will cover the cost of your Bigga membership.

About the Club
Cooden Beach Golf Club
is a traditional private members Club with great traditions. The course is situated on a SSSI site on the Pevensey marshes close to the sea.

It is unique in many ways, every hole is individual designed by the renowned course architect Herbert Fowler back in 1912.

We operate with a team of 6 greenstaff, this position would ideally suit someone recently qualified or near to qualifying.
