Fund Administrator - Fixed Term Contract - 9 months
Salary:
£28, ,000 per annum
Plus loyalty bonus paid on successful completion of the contract
Role:
Fixed Term Contract (9 months) full time, 40 hours per week
Possibility of contract extension or permanent role
Location:
London (Office based for the first month, then the opportunity for hybrid working)

We now have a maternity cover opportunity for a Fund Administrator to support our Fund Administration team.We are looking for someone with general fund administration or back office experience to join a small, friendly and professional team based in smart offices near the Bank of England.

Fund Administrator - Main duties:
***The successful applicant will join as a junior member of the team and will support the team on a day to day basis.
The role is varied, but main duties include:
- Cash and stock reconciliations
- Maintenance of records in Charles River IMS
- Instructing completed trades to administrators
- Monitoring trade settlement and resolving issues
- Monitoring best execution
- Monitoring the trade blotter for execution and any exceptions
- Section 793 holdings disclosures
- Other Fund Administration tasks as necessary
Do you have:
- Financial services experience within fund administration
- Good knowledge of Excel formulae
- Strong attention to detail and work with a high degree of accuracy
- The ability to work well both in a small team and individually
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to remain calm when under pressure with a varied and unpredictable workload
Nice to haves:
***_Highly desirable although not essential:_
- A degree in business administration / mathematics / economics or similar
- Prior experience of using the Charles River Investment Management System
- Previous experience of Bloomberg terminal
