We are recruiting a

Resource Co-Ordinator within our Erection & Commissioning (EC) function, based at our office in Manchester (hybrid).

  • Reporting to the Operations & Planning Manager (in country), we are looking for an individual to work within our existing service to proactively manage our thirdparty resource suppliers whilst supporting our overall resource planning for existing and future projects.

What are my responsibilities?

  • Manage the demand for EC resource by assigning appropriate competent individuals to meet the requirements of the construction sites. This includes long term projects, modifications & upgrades plus additional ad hoc resource requests.
  • Ensure all resource requests and assignments are clearly and appropriately communicated to all stakeholders such as, third party suppliers, Lead Planner & Training Coordinator, to name a few.
  • Become highly proficient in the use of the chosen resourcing tool for third party hires. Become our EC go to person in this area.
  • Create job profiles, work orders and process time sheets in Fieldglass. Produce a weekly resource overview report for all Third-Party Worker's (TPW's) and look ahead.
  • Work within all the agreed processes and report shortfalls as they occur.
  • Be a single point of contact for third party resourcing of competent site resources as per the business demands.
  • Responsible for the reviewing and maintaining the master overview of individual training and experience capturing all current hires, new hires and off hires.
  • Ensure adequate time is scheduled for reviewing individual CV's and training overviews, prior to acceptance and deployment to site.
  • Coordinate the issue and return of IT for those resources where it is deemed a requirement, coordinated via the MyIT portal / SOC rep.
  • Coordinate resource escalations for all thirdparty suppliers with the operations and planning team.
  • Manage the thirdparty resource demand process through Fieldglass, act as a gate keeper when considering compliance towards the businesses required processes.
  • Assist the operations & planning manager with quarterly supplier review meetings with focus on safety at site, quality of resource supplied (feedback) plus future scope.
  • Fully participate in activities that assist the further development of the EC team.
  • Cover for forecasting and planning colleagues when on holiday / sick.
  • Coordinate safety bulletins and business updates towards our thirdparty resource suppliers.
  • Support internal project initiatives.
  • To work closely with others within the business function as required to ensure conformance to all required safety and compliance protocols.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills, coupled with the ability to demonstrate good problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing requirements.
  • Previous experience of managing multiple site requests / priorities.
  • Have worked in a technical environment and demonstrate a proven track record of working in an operational environment, preferably within the renewable industry.
  • Be able to communicate on all levels.
  • A flexible approach to working hours within reason.
  • Global outlook and exposure to different challenges, cultures and ways of working
  • PC literate with experience in using Excel, word, PowerPoint and resource management tools.
