**About the role

**In this role, you will have the opportunity to: - Lead investigations, audits, and assurance reviews, identifying key learning points to drive continuous improvement.

  • Act as a focal point for H&S guidance and direction.
  • Embed OHS legislation and regulations to achieve compliance across your area of responsibility.
  • Act as competent advisor on fire safety management to deliver corporate compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Support the development and implementation policy, leading on specific aspects and topics.
  • Exploit responsibilities for data analysis; Performance Indicators, dashboard reporting and risk register maintenance.
  • Manage H&S communications to educate and drive improvement.
  • Supporting development and training needs where appropriate.

Person specification

  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent Level 5/6 qualification.
  • Relevant work experience across a similar role.
  • Professional Membership: hold or attain during employment Graduate IOSH
It would also be great if you can demonstrate any of the following desirable criteria:

  • Fire Safety Management Qualification
  • Lead Auditor Qualification
In addition to the responsibilities above, the following technical competences and behaviours will be assessed at interview:

  • Conducting OHSEP Audit and Assurance Activities (Practitioner)
  • Conducting Risk Assessments (Practitioner)
  • Communicating & Influencing
  • Leadership
