Do you have a degree or diploma in Environmental Health or have you completed and passed the taught elements of your CIEH-accredited Level 6 qualification (for example when you are commencing your dissertation (MSc) or be in the final year of a BSc EHP Apprenticeship) ?


We are looking for a positive and enthusiastic professional to join our Environmental Health & Housing Team, within the Public Protection Service.


Your primary function will be to investigate and resolve complaints and enquiries about enviro-crime, public health and housing conditions, dealing with a range of issues including statutory nuisance, caravan site and HMO licensing, illegal evictions, hoarding cases and enviro-crime.


As either a Graduate or Chartered Environmental Health Officer, you will need to have excellent customer care skills, an adaptable approach, and the ability to communicate well with members of the public.

This role within Public Protection is an exciting opportunity to make a positive difference to the lives of North Lincolnshire's residents and meet the council's outcomes of being safe and well across the varied rural and urban landscape of North Lincolnshire.

We are a progressive employer with flexible and agile working arrangements. You will need to have a full and valid driving licence.

The contract is for a temporary role to cover maternity leave.
