Job Overview The Pre-Sales team is responsible for providing input into software demonstration, tender composition, and customer acquisition to allow sales to be successful. They also identify service and product opportunities and provide marketing even support. We arelooking for an energetic pre-sales consultant to join our existing team, specifically focusing on our Social Care & Education solutions. OLM has been established in the market for over 30 years and has invested in a brand-new platform for Social Care.


Note - this role could require UK travel up to 50% of the time; however, many presentations are now remote.


Key Job Function Tasks and Responsibilities - Dynamically craft sales pitches, clearly demonstrating the benefits of our software solution(s) for the given audience and a specific opportunity.

  • Provide product knowledge to the sales team to further enhance sales pitches and commercial proposals/tenders.
  • Align themselves closely with the product team to ensure our solution is aligned with the market and can be strategically aligned to our customer needs.

Experience Required - Either a pre-sales consultant position that is used to presenting to Local Authorities or a professional with a Local Authority background.


Skills and Attributes - Have a working knowledge of care management solutions and, where possible intrinsic knowledge of Social Care and Education in the UK.

  • Be a strong presenter who quickly captures a room's attention and builds rapport.
  • Able to respond to tenders concisely and succinctly with good written English with a technical understanding of the customer requirements.
  • Strong technical aptitude and the ability to work across multidisciplinary teams.
