Team


As part of the Finance and Operations team, you'll play a crucial role in enabling the organisation to work effectively and efficiently.

Our multi-faceted team proactively provides useful tools, information, and support to staff, whilst also safeguarding the charity's assets and managing risks.

We're a team of problem solvers, using our skills and experience to enhance ShareAction's impact.


Position


The role will provide a dedicated resource for managing Salesforce, data and information across the organisation where it is currently not available.


The role is designed to:

  • Assist with the daytoday management of Salesforce including modifications of fields and page layouts where necessary.
  • Monitor data flowing in and out of the database ensuring quality and integrity as well as compliance with ShareAction's data policies and procedure.
  • To support all teams with data management including the creation of reports, exporting of data and the development of dashboards.

What you'll do _(key responsibilities)_

  • You'll help to maintain accurate and reliable records including data of charity supporters, stakeholders, and their communication preferences.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of data is entered into Salesforce by all users.
  • Update and maintain the internal database, respond to evolving requirements.
  • Resolve data queries.
  • Run and maintain reports and dashboards.
  • Support staff in using the database, providing basic training where required.
  • Coordinate teams, ensuring consistency of database use and data input across the organisation and therefore supporting crossteam collaboration and communication.
  • Manage automation between systems and setting up connectors through Zapier.
  • Support the Senior MEL (Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning) Manager to structure data and report on organisational impact.
  • Identify opportunities for using data more efficiently and streamlining processes.

Requirements:


What you'll bring to the team

It would also be great - but not essential - if you have:

  • Previous experience of Salesforce
  • Experience of teaching or training groups or individuals of varying ability, particularly in an IT focussed area
