West Suffolk College is one of the country's leading further education and apprenticeship providers. Our apprenticeship results have consistently remained above the national average. We offer many degrees, HNCs and HNDs at our focused and inclusive University Studies Centre. We have around 13,000 students including nearly 2,000 apprentices studying with us.

Our curriculum also supports personal and professional development of adults who wish to switch career or would like to upskill to enable career progression.

The courses vary in level, delivery model and duration and are continually being adapted to meet the needs of students, our communities and the skills demand within our local labour market.

You will be responsible for leading the planning and delivery of programmes within this exciting and varied Adult Curriculum and continue to build on the excellent relationships with employers and DWP (Department for Work and Pensions) colleagues within the county.

As a College, our Character Strengths and Mission Statement underpin our expectations of all our students and employees.

Please familiarise yourself with these and incorporate them into your personal statement; this will be of benefit if you are invited to attend for an interview.

This is an opportunity to join a hugely supportive organisation where we value, support and facilitate your professional development, as well as offering many other benefits including an attractive pension scheme, staff wellbeing initiatives and employee assistance.

This College is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
