  • Previous experience in leading major project designs in electrical engineering.
  • Undertake a client facing role in the development and design coordination of engineering project services.
  • Experience and understanding of integrated design in buildings.
  • Management of the tender process on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Supervise staff and their workload within the department to prioritise deadlines.
  • Demonstrate a thorough knowledge and understanding of detailed coordination with other design disciplines.
  • Able to work on their own initiative with mínimal supervision on all technical aspects of their discipline
  • Identifying opportunities for new services and company development.
  • Provide evidence of delivering projects from inception to completion, through your own efforts and that of your own team.
  • Work as part of the Management team to share ideas and improve operation, recommending, supporting, and implementing continuous improvement activities and process and procedure improvements.

Professional and Technical Expertise Requirements:

  • Competent in specification writing, design/drawing for all building types
  • Knowledge of key health and safety issues and legislation
  • Must possess good knowledge and a competent ability in the use of Amtech and their preferred Lighting Design Software
  • Be conversant with up to date IT, technical methodology and information sources
  • Possess a thorough understanding of the relevant and current British and industry Standards
  • Possess the ability to prioritise project and team workload/s
  • Possess the ability to work to tight deadlines
