    Description

    Audit Manager Role

    We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to oversee the audit process for various clients, including large UK groups, privately owned limited companies, LLPs, and listed entities.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Plan, execute, and complete audit work to a high standard on a diverse portfolio of clients.
    • Effectively supervise semi-senior and junior staff, providing training, delegation, monitoring, and review of their work.
    • Take full responsibility for each audit assignment, ensuring completion within agreed timescales with the support of relevant managers/partners.
    • Prepare and implement high-quality work programmes, attending external planning and completion audit meetings as needed.
    • Deal with technical issues or seek guidance where necessary, agreeing adjustments with clients and liaising with our accounts team.
    • Draft management letters and reports, auditing tax computations, and keeping senior management informed of progress.

    Requirements

    • ACA or ACCA qualification required.
    • Desire to work in 100% Audit position.
    • Up-to-date working knowledge of financial reporting, accounting standards, auditing standards, company law, and corporate tax.
    • Previous experience in a similar role and ability to multi-task.
