The Supply Chain Assistant will be assisting the Supply Manager and working with key suppliers to the business on standard operating procedures, supplier agreements, relationship building and performance reporting.

You will also have exposure to continuousimprovement projects and review meetings.


What you'll bedoing as Supply Chain Assistant:

  • Working cross functionally across the business and attending weekly team meetings with commercial, product and costing teams
  • Taking ownership of factory address/contacts/responsibilities matrix
  • Constantly challenging and understanding lead times
  • Working with the Costing Team on ensuring all costs are captured and up to date
  • Collation of packaging stocks held by suppliers
  • Setting KPIs and Standard Operating procedures with factories
  • Ensuring factories are set up correctly on SAP/New factory set up forms
  • Leading in the identification of potential department improvements and development projects
  • Creating a road map of supplier visits and reviews
  • Seeking to improve skills and knowledge of yourself and the team, via training, skills matrix evaluation and knowledge sharing

What we're looking for in the Supply Chain Assistant:

  • A background in fast moving consumer goods manufacturing or supply chain
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Organised with the ability to manage time effectively and prioritise

Salary & Benefits:

- £2- 30,000 per annum with annual salary reviews

  • 25 days holiday per annum, increasing to 27 days after 3 years' service and 30 days after 5 years' service
