An immediate start is available.

We have partnered with a busy local manufacturing business who have a vacancy within their small and friendly purchasing team.

The company are part of a larger global business so have a great infrastructure for training and good company backing.

About the Role:
If you are looking for your next step up from a buying admin role this is a great opportunity. Your manager will be supportive and train you fully to be the best you can be. They are looking for an organised self-starter with some demand planning experience and who can think analytically.

Ensure stock levels are maintained by liaising with relevant departments and analysing the data.
Raising purchase orders, and IT systems to make correct purchasing decisions
Working with freight companies to achieve timely and costeffective deliveries
Building good relationships with suppliers.
Maintaining the company systems and communicate effectively with all departments,
General purchasing admin and other duties as required

What you can bring:

Able to demonstrate experience of working in a supply chain and purchasing role
Strong analytical and organisational skills.
Confident with the MS office suite
Proven administration experience in a team setting
Organised and flexible approach to working as part of a small team

MCIPS qualification or working towards being MCIPS qualified would be advantageous but not essential.
