Description

We are looking for Payroll Assistant or Payroll Officer (depending on experience) to join our existing Payroll team based in Poundbury, Dorchester.

As a Payroll Assistant/Officer for Clipper Contracting, you will play a key role in working alongside the other members of Payroll to ensure all payrolls are completed accurately, on time, and all required outputs are produced and delivered.

You will be responsible for assisting with weekly payroll, which includes creating timesheets and invoices from the instructions received, making manual adjustments and reversals, calculating statutory payments, issuing of payslips and P45s.

Clipper Contracting Group provides payment solutions to the recruitment sector and payrolls circa 3800 temporary workers weekly.

As part of a larger group of business, providing various recruitment company services, you will be joining a large family of 66 employees, based in our office in Poundbury.


Key Skills required:


  • High attention to detail with good organisational skills
  • Emphasis on ownership and problem solving
  • Previous experience of Microsoft Excel is essential
  • Previous payroll experience is desirable but not essential
  • Previous experience with Merit software would be beneficial
  • GCSE Maths grade of C as a minimum

Package:

We're offering a full-time salary of £19,000 to £24,000 per Annum, depending on experience and role offered, with access to a fantastic range of employee benefits:
